Your Swordsman got lower Health but very high Shield plus 20% Physical defense, which make it elegible for the Helmet Relic (those Relics with % are multiplicative, so Heroes with 0% get 0 benefits) and and actually become a solid frontline unit.

Workers Resources Soviet Republic is an absolute gem. The 'skin' is 70s Soviet society but not really the focus. The focus is building a colony and interlocking cities. The game can be scaled from extremely complex to a simple sandbox. The community is one of the best!

I'm surprised you didn't include Factory Town on this list as it is also on the Steam Summer Sale right now. I also checked Mashinky, but unfortunately it isn't on sale at the moment.

Picked up Workers & Resources back when electricity was the most challenging thing, lol! Something like $10 it was. It was a bargain back then!! It's quadrippled in size since then. It's still a bargain! The best city builder on Steam by FAR!! It has more and deeper gameplay than Dwarf Fortress. Seriously.

Carrying is such a strong upgrade and you ignored it for so long even though the cost to return is very good. Also, when you upgraded the mouse rate from 1g/s to 2g/s you said it was marginally faster, but it’s a 100% increase

Outside of the list, somewhat within the automation/city builder genre, I'll probably dive into the following: Mech Engineer - a must for any Mech Commander and Battletech fans that enjoy resource control city building / management Synergy - a recommendation on the looks alone From Glory To Goo - when you feel like Factorio or it's clones doesn't have enough defense and survival aspects Millennia - a Civ like with an interesting management twist, that looks deceptively easy but have a difficult depth to reach Theocracy - when you feel like there isn't enough religion and fantasy in the Civilization franchise and it's clones Primitive Society Simulator - Neolithic Rimworld with it's own special twist Alien Horizon - a sci-fi survival city builder that more people should try, it's early access with much content in it already, as it's been developed over several years pre Steam launch Going Medieval - Rimworld but medieval with 3d building, free design and physics elements Mistward - a fight the mist automation city builder, keep the lights going as it's your lifeline Infection Free Zone - a zombie survival city builder in active development Expansion Core - a nomadic robotic survival game with different automation than expected and way too little people playing it for what's offered Cardboard Town - a deck building city builder, even more compelling than the description says Regions of Ruin - a combat focused city survival game on a deep sale Moons of Ardan - a sci-fi multi planet city survival builder that should have more players for what's there Sweet Transit - a railway based city builder Final Upgrade - if you've gotten this far into my list, then you'll definitely enjoy this gem! Captain of Industry - already the greatest automation city builder that's still getting ludicrous support and more content, that features 3d destructible terrain, highly recommended! That's the tip of the iceberg, there's too many great games and too little time in the day!

I think people (including me) are hesitating about Ixion because of the meh reviews. There is so much choice in games with a very positive review score on Steam so why would I bother? I mean people are pretty fast with recommending a game because there are just 2 choices on Steam and even if you read the positive reviews people are not raving.

A lot of these frankly suck. Kingdoms Eighties? Really? Really? This is the best we can do?
